The role sits within Core Finance Tech area under Enterprise Finance and Data domain in Group Services division. Core Finance systems are PeopleSoft Finance (Global, China, Indonesia), Hyperion suite of applications like HFM, PR, IP, DRM etc. and many other applications like Blackline (SaaS), Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), CDM (on-prem) etc. We service Enterprise Finance business, and our systems have complex upstream and downstream integration footprint.
As an Engineer your role is to analyse, design, build, test & deploy solutions in Hyperion Essbase for our internal customer, the Enterprise Finance team. You will work in HyperCrue squad to deliver initiatives and releases in Hyperion applications like PR(Essbase), HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), IP (Integrated Planning) and on data analysis, SQL, batch scripting (Windows and Unix shell scripting) etc.
About You

- Must have 3+ years of experience in IT
- Strong skills in Hyperion Essbase
- Strong skills in Windows batch scripting, Unix shell scripting, SQL (PowerShell skills will be a plus)
- Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Must understand SAFe framework (PI planning, risks, and dependencies etc.) and Scrum (Sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives etc.)
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with squad members and stakeholders in tech and business
- Passionate about learning new technology
- Basic understanding of ITIL, incident, problem and change management
What will you bring?
- Understanding requirements from engineering leads/functional designers/business requestor
- Working on design, build and unit testing activities in Hyperion Essbase
- Work with other squads on integration testing
- Support business users in UAT
- Write design and build documentation, prepare deployment documentation etc
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, being assertive in communication.
- Actively participate in PI planning, sprint planning, daily stand ups
- Collaborate with other squads in tech area and domain for technical dependencies, integration testing etc.
- Communicate with business on requirements, UAT testing.
- Strong data analysis, data reconciliation and root cause analysis skills
