As an Analyst, Balance Sheet Trading in our Hong Kong Markets team, you’ll play a key role in helping to contribute toward Balance Sheet Trading Hong Kong achieving the plan and targets. This role will provide direct support to the Mismatch Portfolio, multi-currency funding activities and Liquidity Portfolio.
You will need to build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders including Market Risk, Middle Office, Operations and Funding Teams, as well as to develop good relationships with interbank counterparties and local market network. From time to time, you will also provide full desk back-up coverage responsibility for the team.

'What will you bring?'
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Relevant work experience in Money Market/Balancesheet Trading would be required.
- Good understanding in both trading FX and Money Market products, regulatory & market environment, financial instruments & operational processes.
- Good working knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and requirements within Hong Kong market would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills. Ideally fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Advanced working knowledge of PC skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Bloomberg, Reuters,and VBA would be a plus.
