Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer for one of our clients in the education industry.
Position:Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Role type: Permanent
Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 per annum + superannuation
Work type: On-site (5 days)
Location: Eastern Suburbs

The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Comprehensive management of the infrastructure from start to finish.
• Oversee the IT Helpdesk and support services.
• Administration of Hyperconverged technologies such as Nutanix.
• Implementation and configuration of FortiGate or alternative firewall systems (mandatory).
• Efficient management of virtualized servers including VMWare and Hyper-V infrastructure.
• Administration of backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
• In-depth comprehension of network technologies including VLANs, VPNs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
