Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Enterprise Architecture. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. This role is integral to internal projects, contributing to the planning, design, development, deployment, testing, optimisation, and documentation of infrastructure and systems in a project landscape.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Enterprise Architect), You will be working closely with technical and non-technical teams, as well as Project Managers, to bring solutions to life and transition projects to Operational Services or customer support teams.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technology outcomes
- Provide strategic and tactical advice for our Technology and Product selection including running evaluations and proofs of concepts
- Engage with project teams, including internal stakeholders, to produce architectural solutions and detailed design documentation relevant to business requirements and best practices
- Provide expertise and recommendations to improve existing designs/implementations
- Implement infrastructure, systems, and application solutions and services
- Participate in the deployment of complex solutions in line with quality, scope, and time constraints
- Prepare as-built documentation & handover documentation needed for transition into ongoing support
What you bring:
- 10+ years' experience in systems or Infrastructure Engineering related roles, or comparable demonstrated level of expertise
- Experience working in third level roles as an SME for infrastructure and PaaS/SaaS related issues
- Experience working with public cloud platforms Azure or AWS
- Proven experience in a Solution Architect/Engineering capacity
- Proven experience contributing to, and executing, complex project deployments and migrations
- Experience working in an ITIL-centric delivery organisation
