Your Next Challenge:


Join their dynamic Melbourne Insolvency team as a Senior Insolvency Analyst and embark on a journey of growth and opportunity. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Management team with a diverse range of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments, including Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations, and Receiverships.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Insolvency Analyst in this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing all assigned engagements
  • Briefing junior staff and allocating responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with case law and statutory requirements
  • Monitoring and meeting statutory deadlines
  • Overseeing asset realization processes
  • Conducting interviews with directors and bankrupts
  • Liaising with financiers, lawyers, agents, and auctioneers
  • Sharing knowledge and industry insights to enhance team expertise
  • Reviewing work of junior team members
  • Designing, developing, and analyzing financial models
  • Identifying and resolving complex accounting issues
  • Liasing with associated stakeholders, lawyers and allied professionals and service providers
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed financial analysis and investigative reports

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:


To excel in this role, candidates will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce with an Accounting Major, or related studies
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate insolvency
  • Completed or keen interest in studying CAANZ/CPA
  • Strong ethical standards and business development experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and liaise effectively with stakeholders
