As the conduit for interiors between the Client, Design Partners, and Local Architect, this position will drive design development and technical delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating conceptual packages from lead designers into design development packages in REVIT
- Development of construction documentation and joinery detailing packages
- Coordination with studio partners or JV teams to develop designs in-line with Australian Standards and demographics
- Providing technical oversight and design solutions, including resolution of technical details of custom design elements in line with BCA and Australian Standards
- Coordination of local trades and suppliers
- Overseeing project delivery on site, including resolving RFI's and providing solutions to design issues
- Develop luxury custom furniture, lighting &/or materials
This position requires a technically driven interiors specialist, who has:
- Luxury project background – hotel, retail, luxury residential preferred
- Technical and constructability interiors knowledge
- Upwards of 8 years of industry postgraduate experience
- Strong REVIT capabilities
