About the role
As Senior Interior Designer at LWID, you will have design freedom and responsibility for managing the client relationship and taking projects from concept through to completion. You will also help out on other projects within the studio as needed.
This is a client facing role, so we are looking for someone with the confidence, ability, strong communication and relationship-building skills to work with our beloved clients to understand and interpret their stories and enhance all the ways they live.
Our new Senior Interior Designer will work closely with founder Louise Walsh who is there to guide, mentor and assist, giving you the freedom to run jobs and put your own design stamp on projects.
This is a full-time permanent role which can be based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast and will require regular (likely monthly) travel to LWID's Lennox Head / Byron Bay studio, as well as to client sites as needed. The team also regularly attend national design events together as part of ongoing professional development. While in Brisbane / Gold Coast, you will be able to split your time between working from home and working from LWID's Brisbane studio.

Things we are looking for in a Senior Interior Designer candidate include:
- 8+ years industry experience
- Client relationship management experience
- Experience delivering high-end residential projects from concept to completion
- Documentation and presentation skills using Vectorworks, Photoshop, Revit and other rendering packages
- Experience in design as well as decorating
- Experience in custom designing furniture would be highly regarded
- An architecture / interior architecture degree would be highly regarded
