Senior Interior Designer - Commercial refurb & fit out.
Due to the relocation of an integral member of staff an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interior Designer, to join an established Design and Construction company, specialising in commercial refurbishment and fit out.
This is a full time & permanent position; office is in North Sydney and offers flexible working environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Project delivery for a range of different commercial projects including offices, healthcare, retail (design process, documentation and delivery)
- Providing design solutions across a range of projects
- Provide mentoring the design team and steering the team in a cohesive direction for design, assisting with career development
- Cultivating and developing client relationships
- Design documentation & presenting designs to clients
- Working with the relevant design software to deliver FF&E schedules
- Working with suppliers to source products and select finishes
- Working with the projects team and site teams to ensure accuracy and quality of project delivery
- Communicate design concepts with clients and internal stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with industry trends
- Working to budgets restraints
- Create detailed interior design documentation, drawings, and schedules for construction
To be considered for the role you must have:
- +5 Years experience in commercial Interior Design
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design
- Proficient in ArchiCAD & Adobe suite
- Knowledge of current trends, materials, and innovations in interior design
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Client facing presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiples of projects simultaneously
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
