About the role
As a SeniorLaboratory Technician, you will supervise and direct the Laboratory Technicians to ensure that sample management for clinical trials is conducted in an accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Team leadership by providing guidance, supervision, and training
- Liaise with management to coordinate approach to delivery of trial realisation
- Troubleshoot on-study issues that arise on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure samples are collected, processed, stored, and shipped correctly
- Maintain accurate documentation of all study activities
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree
- Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
