Senior Laboratory Technician

About the role

As a SeniorLaboratory Technician, you will supervise and direct the Laboratory Technicians to ensure that sample management for clinical trials is conducted in an accordance with industry standards and guidelines. 

Key responsibilities

• Team leadership by providing guidance, supervision, and training 
• Liaise with management to coordinate approach to delivery of trial realisation 
• Troubleshoot on-study issues that arise on a day-to-day basis 
• Ensure samples are collected, processed, stored, and shipped correctly 
• Maintain accurate documentation of all study activities 

Requirements 

• Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree 
• Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory 
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team 
• Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail 
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
