Senior Lawyer (Po5) | General Commercial

Are you keen to make the move into government? Work on interesting and challenging matters within the Queensland government.

Your New Role Reporting to the Senior Principal lawyer, your new role will see you work on a range of corporate and commercial law matters including contract drafting and negotiation, procurement, ICT, IP, construction, infrastructure and other major projects.
You will also be required to assist the workload of other streams from time to time including public and administrative law, workplace and industrial relations and privacy and information access schemes.

Your Skills Profile

• 5+ years' post admission experience;
• Public sector corporate governance, risk and compliance experience will be favourably regarded but not essential;
• Strong negotiation and communication skills;
• Excellent research and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated learning agility and commercial acumen.
