This is an exciting opportunity to join their electronic trading team, and work closely with traders and support staff to deliver trading and pricing components. In this role, you will have direct exposure into the fast-paced institutional trading environments, and the opportunity to extend the ION platform.
We are looking for a lead ION MarketView Technical BA with strong technical (ION and related technologies) and functional exposure (Fixed Income). The role offers the opportunity to be involved with cloud transformation, automation, downstream integration, analytics, regulatory reporting, new product roll-outs, ...
You will also be the key Luxoft representative with the client on this engagement with the ability to grow our footprint and develop into a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Technical and functional SME solution design for the ION MarketView solution across the team.
- Hands-on configuration, integration and testing of ION components
- Mentor more junior team members
- Platform re-engineering to provide a stable and maintainable platform for the business
- Direct engagement with business stakeholders in Trading, Sales and COO teams.
- Implement changes and upgrades to the ION MarketView pricing and eTrading platform.
- Coordinate and organise changes with external vendors, markets, ECNs and infrastructure teams
- ION topology tuning to create and maintain a high performance platform
- Strong hands on experience of ION MarketView with at least 7 years of experience having implemented a broad range of changes.
- In depth knowledge of MMI .NET, D2C & D2D Connectivity Gateways, TOMS, PXE, REFDATA, VMO, VMQ, Run List Manager
- In depth understanding of Fixed Income trading environment in Rates and/or Credit businesses
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in a complex trading environment including pricing and trade capture issues.
- Strong technical experience, ideally including Shell Scripting and python Scripting
- Constantly challenging and seeking ways to improve platform consistency and maintainability.
- Experience managing an ION team or end-to-end project
- Experience of using source control systems, in particular GIT and maven build & packaging.
- Exposure to other front-to-back treasury and capital markets applications
