Senior Lecturer in Health Leadershipand Management

- Remuneration: $145,071 - $166,436 + 17% Super and leave loading
- Location: 4 days per week at Westmead, 1 day per week in Randwick
- Full Australian working rights required for the duration of the contract
The School of Population Health (SPH) is collaborating with the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) to form a Health Services Research Unit (HSRU) based within the District. A SPH Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Health Leadership and Management will be an embedded position with the WSLHD HSRU.
The role of Senior Lecturer organisationally reports to Professor of Health Service Management in SPH and for daily work activities jointly to this role and WSLHD HSRU Coordinator. In this position, you will have two key foci. First, you will play a key role in leading and advancing outstanding research at the WSLHD, national and international levels. The primary focus for your research will be health systems and services studies within WSLHD. You will be a recognised emerging leader with a developing track record comprising publications in peer reviewed journals, industry and conference presentations, and competitive funding. Secondly, and as importantly, you will make a significant contribution to educational excellence in the Master of Health Leadership and Management (MHLM) Program of the School. Teaching in to the MHLM Program, you will provide a course that is of high-quality, based on current literature and policy materials, and aligned with industry needs and challenges.

- Teaching and learning experience
- Research, including post-graduate students
- Collaboration, organisation skills and Industry engagement
- University and academic service
