About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Lecturer/Lecturer who will demonstrate leadership and excellence in research, teaching, and professional services within the academic discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating curriculum development, research activities, and providing expertise in lecturing, tutorials, and clinical placements. Additionally, contribute to academic and administrative functions across the academic scope. Candidates are expected to make significant contributions to scholarship, research, and professional activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertake teaching and assessment of postgraduate students.
- Undertake scholarship and research activities.
- Provide input into the development of new teaching resources.
- Supervise students undertaking projects.
- Participate in team projects and various committees as required.
- Refer students to personal and academic support services relevant to their needs.
- Monitor learning and identify students requiring support.
- Attendance at IHM meetings as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Masters’ qualification in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
- Advance HE Fellowship is desirable.
- Relevant teaching qualifications in higher education is desirable.
- Professional Registration in the relevant discipline, as applicable
- Clinical experience in a relevant discipline.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in higher education is desirable.
- Relevant experience in curriculum quality and reviews in a tertiary environment is desirable.
