Background
We are working with some of Australia's largest organisations who are seeking general commercial, technology lawyers on a contract basis, on an initial 12 month engagement.
  
Opportunities
We are working across multiple opportunities for commercial/ technology lawyers on a contract/ temporary basis to fill existing gaps within their in-house legal team/s. Roles spead across a range of sectors/ industries, mainly based in Sydney.
We are seeking commercial/ technology lawyers who enjoy working collaboratively, with a strong client focus. These opportunities a transactional-based role across the full spectrum of general commercial, technology and IT contract law.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have 5+ years PAE (or equivalent) experience in general commercial or technology/ IT contracts.
In addition, you will have:

• strong relationship and stakeholder management skills;
• strong risk assessment capabilities;
• legal project management skills;
• the ability to translate strategic direction into operational goals to achieve core business outcomes;
• management of external Legal Counsel;
• collaborative working style, strong communication skills;
• Have advanced drafting skills; and
• Be adaptable, flexible and commercial in your approach.

This is a great opportunity for returners from overseas, lawyers in private practice who are looking for a introduction to an in-house legal function, or people looking for more flexibility in their role. This role may also be performed whilst working remotely offering more flexibility if desired.
