Senior Lawyer / Special Counsel - Planning & Environment - Sydney

We represent a respected national law firm.

This premier law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Lawyer for their Planning and Environment team.
 
The Role
 
You will be part of a collaborative team that offers exposure to a comprehensive range of planning and environment legal services.

Working alongside a leading Planning and Environment Law Principal and talented practitioners, you will represent clients in the Land and Environment Court in Class 1, 3 and 4 of the Court’s jurisdiction.

This role is a great opportunity to work directly with the firms developer clients, providing them with expert legal advice and guidance on planning and environment matters.
 
Requirements
 
The successful candidate will have between 5-8 years’ PQE and demonstrated experience as a Planning & Environment Lawyer.
 
In addition to this you will have:

• Experience in litigious matters, particular acting for Applicants in the Land and Environment Court in class 1,3 and 4 matters.
• Excellent drafting skills.
• A passion for navigating complex legal landscapes.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A strong commitment to excellent client service.

The team are looking for someone who is confident with business development skills, is a team player, passionate about collaborative growth and self-motivated.
 
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
