Qualifications
Essential:
· Qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma, Cert IV) in ICT Systems Engineering or related field
· Certified SAFe® Practitioner (mandatory for all COSPO personnel – can be completed upon engagement)
Desirable:
· Qualification in any Technical Regulatory Frameworks
· ITIL certification (desirable)
Experience
Essential:
· Demonstrated ICT experience
· Experience in Maintenance Manager role within ADF
· Systems Engineering and/or Systems Maintenance experience
· Strong Defence background
· High level management and communication skills
Desirable:
· Agile / DevOps / Scrum experience
· Demonstrated experience in and understanding of information technology and/or cyber security
Responsibilities
· Actively work with stakeholders to deliver on the technical challenges that arise in the delivery of day to day operations – across multiple systems and streams
· Manage and task the regional Field Service Representatives (FSR)
· Development and ongoing improvements of the Maintenance Management System (MMS) and associated policy and procedures
· Manage and Coordinate establishment of DCR Nodes across all deployed regions in Australia
· Actively support the Defence Cyber Range Product Manager in managing associated activities for the Defence Cyber Range (DCR)
· Establish authorised maintenance community with Defence units and ensure Unit Maintenance Managers (UMM) conduct assigned maintenance activities as directed
· Establish Technical Maintenance Plans (TMP) for all project material systems including routine, system updates and defect/fault activities
· Manage maintenance logs and report on faults and defects reported by stakeholders
· Regularly meet with key internal stakeholders to ensure IT needs and service requirements are being met
· Monitor, manage and resolve IT service tickets
