YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Are you are looking to take that next step into a Senior Maintenance Technician Role? Our newly created opportunity, needs someone who is willing to take responsibility for mentoring and leading ongoing maintenance & breakdown trades persons who undertake repairs across all assets, including Underground Fixed Plant, Processing Plant, Paste Plant, Workshop and Non-Process Infrastructure. When the Maintenance Supervisor is absent, you will be able to direct the crew independently to ensure safe and effective maintenance is carried out.
We are better together; you will:
Sharing your knowledge in mineral processing & crushing plant maintenance (preferably nickel)
Actively participate in equipment performance and fault improvement teams
Assist with the preparation and support activities during major plant shutdowns
Support an effective collaboration between maintenance and production teams
Encourage the development of team plans and reporting systems
Continually identify and report opportunities for improving plant availability
You will be joining a workplace that offers a supportive, welcoming culture where your efforts will be valued. On site you will stay in a well-maintained camp with fantastic facilities and your own permanent room.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
It is essential that you have significant experience in a similar role within a mining environment. Along with a positive, energetic attitude and willingness to contribute and be part of a team, you will also have the following:
Relevant mechanical trade qualification
Solid understanding of mineral process & crushing plants, preferably nickel
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets;
Safety focused with the drive to be part of a successful team supporting our company values;
Valid ‘HR’ manual drivers licence; and
National Police Clearance obtained within the last two (2) months.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
