We seek a Senior Management Accountant (Costing) to optimize expenditure, enhance profitability, and support strategic decisions for my client.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role demands expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyzing and overseeing cost structures, identifying drivers and variances.
- Developing and managing product costing models accurately.
- Assessing cost implications of new products or production changes.
- Streamlining inventory levels, minimizing costs, and ensuring availability.
- Generating financial statements and reports, presenting findings to Senior Management.
- Identifying opportunities for cost-related process improvement.
- Collaborating with various departments to optimize procedures.
- Providing financial insights for decision-making.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks related to costs.
- CPA/CA qualification with accounting degree.
- 3+ years finance management experience.
- Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong cost accounting skills and commercial acumen.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Analytical, conceptual, presentation, and communication skills.
