SalaryOur client provides construction services to a range of clients across Australia. With the business continually growning and a huge pipeline of projects with large T1 and T2 clients, we are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team based in south-east Melbourne.
This role offers a mix of strategic financial thinking and influence, as well as an involvement with the Senior Management team in decision making. Working across various entities, you come with an outside and fresh point of view and learn the business as a whole, financially.
- Performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, available funding and other financial management issues enhancing financial and operational outcomes, financing and interest rates.
- Supports the preparation of accurate, insightful, and timely divisional performance reports in a monthly cycle.
- Prepares regular divisional full-year forecasts identifying potential differences when compared to annual budget targets, to inform key stakeholders about expected financial risk. In addition, develop recommendations to enhance financial performance and maintain overall budget integrity based on forecast results.
- Contributes to month-end and year-end activities by preparing timely and accurate general ledger adjustments that enables robust and insightful divisional financial performance reporting.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, construction background is ideal
- Tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA required
- Tax/BAS Agent would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- MYOB Advanced
- Renumeration based on experience and negotiatable, circa $150K + superannuation
- 5 days based in their office
