Senior Management / Cost Accountant - Manufacturing - Western Sydney

Recent supply chain challenges across the industry has meant their market share has increased sustainability due to being one of only a handful of on-shore manufacturers. Combined with an expanding presence across the US, they are well positioned to continue their rapid growth.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO and sitting within a Finance team of seven, this Senior Management / Cost Accountant role has three key areas of focus,

• Cost and Management Accounting
• Finance contact for Pronto system enquiries
• Project lead for system upgrades and development

More specifically this will involve:

• Develop and maintain reports for analysis and decision making
• Reports are to be accurate and on-time
• Interpretation of data and identifying drivers to help department heads make decisions
• Managing the project and the cross-departmental team
• Managing the allocation of resources within the project
• On-time / on budget delivery of project
• Maintaining Pronto ERP system including logging tickets, liaising between Pronto support and employees
• Troubleshoot IT issues and liaise with external support
• Manage the advanced forecasting and material resource planning process on a monthly basis, and ad-hoc as required
• Maintaining and updating the Pronto ERP database when required
• Undertake and maintain costings for all finished goods
• Assist with the formulation of finished goods pricing in line with the Organisation's margin expectations
• Interpret and review costings and related analysis as and when required

Your Background
To be considered for this Senior Management / Cost Accountant role, our client is very keen to speak to candidates with:

• Strong management accounting and cost accounting experience
• Ideally a manufacturing background
• Strong systems/project experience with decent exposure to mid-tier systems like Pronto would be superb
