How will I help?We're seeking a
Senior Manager for Business Controls and Monitoring (HealthPoint), to join the
Cash & Transactional Banking team. In this part-time role, you'll be integral to maintaining our risk management framework, policies, and controls.As a valued member of our Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM) team, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a robust risk culture that upholds our values of integrity while meeting commercial and customer needs. Your responsibilities will include providing expert guidance on risk and control matters, ensuring alignment with frameworks, policies, and regulatory obligations.You'll lead incident verification and root cause analysis activities, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs. Facilitating compliance assessments and enhancing incident management practices will also be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you'll contribute to identifying, uplifting, or building controls within the HealthPoint Village, testing their effectiveness, and supporting change initiatives.Active participation in working groups and meetings will enable you to provide input on complex risk and compliance matters arising from change initiatives. Your role will involve reviewing and developing key artefacts, facilitating updates for new or enhanced controls, and proactively coaching the HealthPoint Village to enhance risk awareness and maturity.

What do I need?With 5-10 years' experience as a seasoned risk management professional in banking or financial services, you'll bring a deep understanding of risk assessment and material risk policy components to this role. You'll showcase strong influencing, negotiating, and quality assurance skills, along with a proven track record in risk management, legal, or compliance roles. You'll thrive working autonomously, completing tasks, and making decisions within delegated boundaries.Your ability to translate complex information into simple, understandable terms and communicate with passion will set you apart. You'll have strong relationship-building skills and excel at working effectively as part of a team. Your proactive approach, organisational skills, and outcomes-focused mindset will drive you to success.
