The opportunity
We're excited to be recruiting for a superstar to join our Media Relations team as our Senior Manager - Media Relations. You will take responsibility for leading the development and implementation of our overall media strategy and will influence the conversation around issues impacting HESTA members. You will work closely with the CEO and Executive team and play a key role as a trusted adviser to the business on emerging issues. You will be responsible for driving day-to-day management of all media activities and key managing relationships with external service providers in order to enable HESTA to tell its story.

You're energised by working in complex, issues rich environments and are passionate about using your outstanding communications skills and deep knowledge of the media landscape to create lasting impact. You excel leading dynamic media teams that deliver industry leading results and take pride in sharing team success and growing the skills and talents of those around you. This is a critical role within our organization. So, naturally your functional expertise is ably supported by strong stakeholder management skills coupled with an ability to influence across all levels. You shine under pressure and bring positive, creative, and collaborative energy to work each day.
