In this role, you'll:

Support the management of the Systems Engineering effort and a team of engineering specialists to ensure the SM program and associated projects meet Sydney Metro standards and specifications and all legislative requirements through the design and delivery lifecycles of the program. The role supports the implementation of assurance, audit tools and processes to monitor and report on performance of projects including the implementation of regular assurance plans.

This is a fixed term 12 month role.

About you

You will have tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent experience with significant, proven capabilities in Systems Engineering and Systems Integration

Ideally you will have a background in the rail or road transportation sector and be well versed in System Engineering principles and tools. However, experience applying Systems Engineering in other safety and mission critical sectors (eg. defence, aerospace) will also be highly regarded.

Key Systems Engineering and Integration activities you will support include:

• System engineering consultancy and support to the program/project teams and respective TAO contractors
• Contributing to the development of key Systems Engineering artefacts in the early phases of projects including ConOps, OCD, MCD, BRS, SRS
• Supporting the development and management of key system integration artefacts in the detailed design and delivery stage of projects including ICDs, ITPs, DITPs and DITRs
• Conducting due diligence reviews of TAO Suppliers’ deliverables
• Supporting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
• Implement Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
