What you'll be doing
This is an exciting, once in a career opportunity to join the new statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit (CRU).
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality person-centred care.

Where you'll be working
The CRU Occupational Therapist workforce will be deployed to locations for anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Selection Criteria
- Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within relevant clinical areas and settings
- Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence-based practice and/or development of treatment protocols
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students
- Capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional/remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
