About the opportunity
The Senior Marketing Specialist is a critical role that will lead the Partner Marketing Program for the Oceania region.
You will have the opportunity to build an effective and efficient Partner Marketing Strategy. This will include Partner recruitment and onboarding campaigns, designing impactful flagship channel events, developing an actionable plan based on Partner surveys, driving Partner loyalty and leading generation initiatives that engage target audiences and improve ROI of our activities.
The Oceania Marketing team will focus on developing and rolling out marketing programs that drive business growth, brand awareness, and align with Oceania strategic priorities and business goals.
This role is based in our Award-winning Melbourne office. The role will have a requirement to travel domestically with some international travel.
Key responsibilities:
Work with the Axis’ sales teams and Channel Partner Sales and Marketing teams to lead, manage, and measure the Partner Marketing Program.
Work in collaboration with both APAC Regional Partner Marketing and Head Quarter Partner Marketing Teams.
Drive the Partner Marketing Program in the areas of Partner recruitment, activation, enablement, and go-to-market strategies, in collaboration with the Sales and Oceania Marketing Manager.
Work with the Sales and Oceania Marketing Managers to develop, initiatives and implement targeted segment campaigns to deliver leads to strategic partners
Diversify our co-marketing programs with Partners beyond events and explore other marketing tactics.
Determine, implement and follow up quarterly KPI’s set for the Channel Partner Program.
Devise and implement the event strategy for yearly (online and physical) Partner events.
Work with the Events Marketing Lead to organise events that increase Partner loyalty and empower the organisation to share strategy, product and solution updates.
Manage and report large budget
Understand the role of Academy in our Partner enablement journey and execute Academy campaigns across the region
Qualifications and experience
A Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
Significant experience in a Marketing position, preferably at an IT vendor and/or security industry
Significant experience running Channel Partner Marketing Programs
Proven experience building strong business relationships both internally and externally
Good knowledge of the IT/security market
Experience in transferring Marketing knowledge into sales driving activities.
Experience working within a fast-paced B2B technology marketing environment creating and executing multiple marketing strategies and campaigns
Project management skills to strategise, plan and execute marketing initiatives
Knowledge of Salesforce and experience working within a marketing automation platform (Pardot preferred)
