About The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your role as Senior Material Coordinator is to develop systems that ensure the smooth flow of materials in line with production requirements. This extends to the configuration and administration of material procurement systems throughout the plant. You will be responsible for the administration of the Cycle Counting Program and the provision of Spare Parts to the NDC. Responsible for the account management of key service providers including material handling equipment and waste disposal.

Location: You will be based at Dudley Park, Adelaide office within the manufacturing facility with colleagues working for Business Area & Factory Manufacturing Engineering. 

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with all safety, quality and environmental procedures and practices within their work area
  • Demonstrate effective document control and record retention according to factory requirements
  • Develop & deploy material planning and procurement systems in line with management directives
  • Supervision of direct reports and their activities
  • Preparation & organisation of monthly Inventory Accuracy Meeting
  • Preparation and execution of Redundant Stock Disposal
  • Report & advise management on inventory relates issues
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics and or Manufacturing Management preferred

Who You Are

  • You have solid inventory management experience in a repetitive manufacturing environment
  • Experience with computer based MRP & production scheduling systems
  • Experience in leading a small team of administrators
