We are currently in search of an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our industry leading engineering design and manufacturing company. Over the past two decades, we have experienced significant growth and are now inviting a skilled engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Leading mechanical design and project engineering tasks
• Having the opportunity to lead projects or contribute significantly to larger team projects
• Collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, government departments, and stakeholders
• Engaging in a variety of bespoke projects, including greenfield and brownfield ventures.

Qualifications and skills required:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in project engineering
• Demonstrated adaptability and creativity in designing specialized machinery
• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Vault / Inventor (or similar AutoCAD experience)
• Experience with FMCG machinery is highly desirable
• Solid experience in commercial manufacturing
• Self-motivated problem solver with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Comfortable engaging with clients to provide solutions for challenging engineering problems.
