Senior Mechanical Fitter

KETO Pump Technology Services design, manufacture and repair pump solutions for mining, industrial and mineral processing operations around the world. KETO is seeking a Senior Mechanical Fitter to join our friendly team in Henderson.

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for strip, assessments, rebuild and assembly of industrial and mining pumps and new builds of a variety of pump types and sizes. There are also a range of other fitting tasks including trailers, painting, structures, frames, site works and pump accessories that provide great variety for this role.

Key areas of accountability:

• Promote a safe environment for yourself, colleagues and clients
• Produce high quality output
• Deliver new builds and rebuilds on time
• Diagnose root cause failure modes
• Use your experience to assess rebuilds for material and time
• Work with customers at site to solve their pump breakdowns
• To be successful in this role you will have:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar environment.
• The ability to diagnose and assess pump repairs and provide technical reports
• Be able to read engineering drawings and be computer literate
• A high focus on delivering quality products
• Excellent communication skills
• Be safety focused and a team player

The KETO work environment is ideal for motivated staff who want to get on and do a great job with no one looking over their shoulder. We have a very flat structure with no management hierarchy. Everyone does what has to be done without worrying about demarcation. Work times are flexible, there's no clock watching as we just focus on getting pumps delivered. There are multiple roles available from entry level to experienced Fitters.
