We have the rare opportunity for an experienced Mental Health nurses (RPN Grade 4) in our newly developed Specialist Older Adults Consultation Service. If you are excited by the opportunity to work in a new service and use your specialist aged Mental Health experience and skills to optimise the health and wellbeing of the Older Adult consumers in the north, now is the time to join our service. Join us as we build a better future together.The Specialist Older Adults Consultation Service commenced on 1st July 2023.To be successful in this role you will have:

• Registration as a Registered Nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Equivalent with a specialist Mental Health nursing qualification (or equivalent)
• Extensive experience working in acute Mental Health setting - including community setting.
• Experience in mental Health triage/ intake or similar work
• Preference for previous work in older Adult Mental Health
• An enthusiasm and commitment to work within older Adult Mental Health Intake and continue to develop and evolve our service
