Our operations include an increasing number of bespoke projects, which require a meticulous and highly motivated Senior Metrologist /Quality Inspector with previous CMM technical experience.

Your New Role:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your new role will involve:

• Use metrology equipment and CMM machines to verify goods
•  Conducting quality internal audits as scheduled
• Incoming goods and in-process goods inspection
• Conducting tests, analysing measurements, and reviewing processes to ensure product is manufactured to specification.
• Quality control of production goods
• Driving change and process / quality improvement
• Working closely with manufacturing staff to establish work instructions, procedures and set work standards
• Identification of Quality training needs and facilitation of education sessions

You will have:

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience and knowledge of CMM programming.
• Demonstrated work experience in Quality principles and processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience and knowledge of CMM programming
• Computer literacy with MS suite of products
• Proficient in the use of metrology equipment and tools
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail
