Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer

One of our major Federal Government Client is looking to hire a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer.

Please Note: Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance is the key requirement for this role.

The M365 Engineer will be responsible for configuring and implementing the M365 stack to the Department. The engineer will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the Agency's critical Azure and M365 environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

Primary Technologies

• Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7,Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.

• Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the DVA Azure and M365 environments

• Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management in M365

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

• Implement and maintain security best practices for both Azure and M365

• Provide technical support to Users
• Document configurations and procedures for future reference.

Skills Needed:

1. Minimum 3 + years knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment, and/or Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT

1. Minimum 3 + year's experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience collaborating with Microsoft support or other vendors for escalations and assistance with critical problems.

1. Strong understanding of security concepts and how to implement them across server and end user environments.

1. Strong scripting and infrastructure automation background is highly desirable.

1. Working knowledge and experience with the entire 365-product suite

1. Ability to take ownership of a problem and follow it through until completion.

1. Highly developed communication and organisational skills.

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities with key business stake holders.
