About the Role

As a People and Capability Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of Richmond Wellbeing's People and Capability strategy. Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide strategic guidance and support to achieve short and long-term people objectives. You will drive talent management initiatives, foster employee engagement, and lead key projects to enhance our HR policies and processes.

Relationships and Partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including leaders and employees, to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance to develop and execute effective People and Capability strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Talent Management

  • Drive talent management initiatives, including talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Identify high-performing employees and implement strategies to support their growth and retention.

Employee Engagement

  • Encourage participation in workplace engagement initiatives and support analysis and action planning to drive positive change.
  • Design and execute initiatives promoting a culture of recognition, employee well-being, and work-life balance.

Employee Experience

  • Create and sustain an exceptional employee experience that supports well-being and engagement.
  • Implement programs fostering a positive and inclusive work culture and address employee concerns.

Change Management

  • Lead local change management initiatives, providing guidance and support to leaders and employees during transitions.
  • Develop change management strategies and training programs to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, facilitating conflict resolution and ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

HR Policy and Compliance

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with legal requirements and organizational values.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on HR compliance matters.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations to leaders.
  • Track and analyse key HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and prepare regular reports for the leadership team.
  • Key Projects and Continuous Improvement
  • Lead and contribute to key HR projects driving organizational effectiveness and growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and systems.

This role is 1fte to 0.8fte. The FTE (0.8) can be worked flexibly and we will consider options to work the hours over any combination of Monday to Friday during business hours.


About You

To be considered for this role, you will possess;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Coaching approach to working with leaders and team members.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar strategic HR partnering role.
  • Knowledge of industrial relations laws and regulations.
  • Experience in change management and workshop facilitation.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of current trends in people management, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of HRIS capabilities and equal opportunity laws.

Other Requirements

  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Driver’s license
