Objectives:
- Partnering with key operational staff to improve their underlying financial performance and resilience.
- Working with the team to provide accurate and timely financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting output.
- Working with the team to deliver robust and accurate business cases with business objectives.
- The identification of continuous improvement opportunities
- Understanding customer requirements and delivering value add services to the business.
- Mentoring and developing Junior team members.
- Following safety practices and procedures when undertaking work.
- Implement systems and processes.
- Be proficient in SAP, Excel and XERAS.
- Understanding of Unit Rates and Mining Cost Drivers.
- Highly motivated, ability to problem solve and have a strong work ethic.
- Must have a degree in commerce or accounting (or equivalent)
- Hold CPA or CA qualifications (or in progress)
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in coal mining.
- You will be results focused with a strong ability to implement successful change.
- Possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
- FIFO from Brisbane.
