They are in search of a Senior Mining Engineer - Drill and Blast to join their dynamic team at a location nestled just 58 kilometers northeast of a quaint city.
  
Over the next 12 months, they'll be delving into more challenging mining environments, offering prime opportunities to develop and showcase your technical blast design skills under expert guidance.

Duties will include:   

• Managing the engineering aspects of Drill and Blast.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to optimise production processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
• A dynamic environment where you'll tackle multiple waste and coal horizons.
• Navigating environmental considerations while pushing the boundaries of production performance.

  
About you:

• A degree in Mining Engineering or substantial experience in Drill & Blast operations.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mining sector.
• Proficiency in Drill and Blast software- experience with Vulcan and BlastLogic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A drive for continuous personal and professional development.

This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with one rostered day off per month and can allow for a residential lifestyle in Mudgee or surrounding towns.
