You'll be responsible for:
- Provide quotations, secure complex New Business, and support technical aspects, coaching, and leadership for region underwriters and Commercial Division team.
- Own Technical/Underwriting aspects of New Business prospecting, pipelining, and manage complex renewals.
- Lead and coach team members to build high-performing, collaborative, and engaged teams.
- Manage workflows for Complex Accounts, ensuring quality service standards.
- Ensure business alignment with divisional objectives, portfolio balance, and identify profitable new business opportunities.
About you:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and industry accreditations.
- Possess extensive experience in operational, commercial underwriting in a complex, matrixed general insurance organization.
- Skilled at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning and exchange knowledge.
- Demonstrate ability to plan, prioritize, organize tasks, and manage competing resources and demands effectively.
- Deep understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements impacting the organization.
