A thrilling chance awaits a Senior Network Engineer to become a part of the Infrastructure and Secure Network Services team within Group Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the governance of infrastructure services provided by partners, vendors, and third-party suppliers. This includes the technical validation of detailed designs and proposed configurations offered by suppliers.
- Assist in the evaluation of technical changes, validate supplier quotes and proposals, and assess supplier-provided root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Offer technical expertise in the Infrastructure & Operations domain to resolve complex issues/incidents and support the implementation of major changes.
- Support initiatives aimed at optimizing services and fostering continuous improvement within the service framework.
- Collaborate closely with partners, vendors, and third-party suppliers to recommend and implement process improvements, ensuring ongoing service innovation and enhancement in Infrastructure & Operations.
- Provide support for SD-WAN/SDI, AWS, Azure, GCP, and network management solutions across LAN/WAN environments.
- Participate in the design and construction of private links, VPN (SRX), and SD-WAN architecture.
- Assist in preparing relevant cost and budget estimates for infrastructure projects.
- Support demand and capacity planning by overseeing analysis and development efforts from partners, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
Essential Criteria
- Solid experience with Juniper SRX and network troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in the financial services sector, especially with payment networks, is highly valued.
- Over 8 years of experience working in a complex IT infrastructure environment.
- Advanced knowledge in one or more relevant infrastructure domains.
