About the role

Tetra Tech Coffey is a leading provider of engineering and environmental consulting services in the Asia Pacific.

Joining our specialist Site Assessment and Remediation Group, means you'll work with an expert team of highly skilled Environmental Scientists/engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists and remediation specialists.

This a great opportunity to work directly with our leaders and Principals to deliver a wide variety of site investigation projects in the Defence, infrastructure, mining and resources, property and oil and gas sectors.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Planning, directing and delivering large, Contaminated Land projects
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring & support to the team working with you on contaminated site investigations
  • Managing and preparing technical content in reports, proposals and correspondence
  • Building key client relationships and working with our Practice Leader and Principals to identify new growth opportunities
  • Engaging with a range of Western Australian government departments and regulators
  • Collaborating with our Contaminated Land project managers and specialists across Australia for input in to major projects

About you

The experience and attributes we welcome include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology and/or Hydrogeology
  • 5+ years' experience delivering Contaminated Land projects, preferably within Western Australia but is not essential
  • Exceptional communication, report writing and project management skills
  • The ability to coach and provide technical guidance for junior staff
  • Experience in ensuring projects are delivered safely and without risks to health or the environment
  • Understanding of Western Australian legislation and Standards and guidelines for Contaminated Land
  • An existing client network as well as relationships with government departments and regulators will be highly regarded
