About the role

  • This role will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients with foot disease and high-risk foot in an inpatient and outpatient setting, as an integrated member of the Central Foot Hub and Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital team.
  • Deliver independent high-level diagnosis, treatment and case management of patients with high-risk diabetic feet through virtual and in-person modes.
  • The role incumbent will provide clinical leadership to contribute to service development, quality activities and research.
  • This position has a key role in leading implementation of telehealth across the Orthotic High-Risk Foot Service partnering with rural sites with no access to Orthotic care.
