Senior Ot Engineer

Join our client as a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Engineer and take charge in delivering cutting-edge engineering projects crucial to our operational success. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of OT systems, guaranteeing top-notch quality and functionality.In this role, you'll collaborate closely with project teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive the successful implementation of OT assets. From conducting thorough analyses to overseeing design reviews and testing, your role will be instrumental in ensuring project success and a smooth transition to operational use.As part of our team, you'll contribute to our vision by upholding our values and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be part of the Digital, Technology, and Information group, leading the development and integration of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and connectivity.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced OT technical advice to project teams, guiding them through minor works and major projects alike.
• Lead and manage OT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT solutions seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
• Actively participate in technical forums to contribute to the development of Seqwater standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the reliability of OT infrastructure.
• Create comprehensive documentation for OT systems, including technical specifications and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all Seqwater work health and safety, quality, and environmental management systems and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree qualifications in an Engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in OT Engineering roles, particularly in industrial control systems and SCADA systems.
• Current active RPEQ registration in a relevant discipline.
• 'C' class driver's license.

Desirable:

• Experience in the water industry, particularly in water treatment and supply processes.

Job Capability Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages for OT systems.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple complex projects.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills for effective consultation, negotiation, and coordination.
