Senior Parking Ranger
- Salary $76,342.26 - $88,556.26 p/a + 11% Superannuation
- Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week (rostered day off)
- Saturday Overtime available on rotational basis
- Leaseback vehicle provided
- Carry out patrols of Ku-ring-gai streets and roads, public reserves and car parks and issue infringement notices as appropriate
- Coordinate the daily activities of the Parking Ranger team
- Providing support, direction, advice, training and coaching to team members
- Ensure that quality customer service standards are maintained and that duties are carried out in an efficient, effective and courteous manner
- Take appropriate action in accordance with your delegation, Council local laws and policies, relevant Acts and legislation
- Issue infringement notices with regard to illegally parked cars and other Road Traffic Act breaches
- Investigate complaints, issue of warnings/cautions, penalty notices, for detected offences;
- Prepare Statement of Facts and briefs of evidence in relation to compliance matters and attend Court as required.
- Certificate IV Local Government Governance or similar relevant experience
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent
- Current NSW WorkCover White card or willingness to obtain independently
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Experience working in a compliance/regulatory role or similar relevant experience in ensuring stakeholder compliance with legislation, policies and guidelines
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
