What you'll do
Play a pivotal role and lead our Mental Health Unit in the Wren Ward at Ramsay Albert Road Clinic! This is a niche clinical practise position that provides specialist care for those identifying as women with complex Mental Health conditions. Our Ramsay Albert Road Clinic has 24 acute inpatient beds and was Australia's first women's Mental Health service to deliver clinical treatment, care, and support for public patients. This opportunity is perfect for a passionate self-starter that is eager to make a difference and represent Ramsay Health Care within a public hospital setting.

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to Mental Health patients through clinical reviews, clinical interventions, and acute inpatient services.
• Educate patients and caregivers on efficient medication management and liaise with healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal transition of care.
• Review and dispense prescriptions/medication orders including specialised medicines involved in monitoring programs

What you'll bring

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
• High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of dispensing software
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and leading a team in accordance with legislative and medication safety guidelines.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience within a Mental Health unit is highly regarded, and experience using Merlin, Alfred or Cerner systems is desirable. Top of Form

It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:

• Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations using vaccines approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
• A national police check within the last 12 months
