About the role:
Reporting to the Team Leader – Design Drafting, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing mechanical/piping design and drafting services for major projects and stay-in-business initiatives.
- Leading the design process from concept to construction using 3D models and associated documentation.
- Administering Plant 3D & Plant 3D Spec editor, including catalogue creation and maintenance.
- Supporting Mechanical and Piping Engineers in design development, 3D modelling, and drawing preparation.
- Preparing preliminary and detailed designs, drawing packages, and documentation for various project phases.
- Producing as-built 3D models and drawings to facilitate plant maintenance and repairs throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Taking on lead roles on specific projects and serving as a liaison between internal customers and the drafting team.
- Collaborating with construction teams and providing necessary modifications.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Good working experience with Plant 3D and Plant 3D spec editor
- Excellent communication skills
- Good document control behaviours and experience
- Solid design & drafting experience in mechanical, piping and structural disciplines
- Thorough understanding of Plant 3D, Vault and AutoCAD
