About the opportunity
The Senior Practitioner will support the EVP Central Intake team in delivering a strength-based, client-centred intake service for individuals who have escaped circumstances of family violence. The successful applicant will have high-level, demonstrated skills and experience in delivering trauma-informed support to individuals who experienced family violence, including through risk assessment and safety planning, and supporting team development.
About you
- A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community development or a related tertiary qualification relevant to child and family welfare.
- Relevant experience in a human services, welfare or social services role with a family violence focus.
- Experience working with victim survivors of family violence (essential)
- Proven experience in supporting and developing a diverse, engaged and cross-functional workforce focused on delivery of client outcomes, in collaboration with program leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to work with challenging clients and complex issues.
