About the role
This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
This position empowers the Procurement and Supply team by harnessing data-driven insights to enhance efficiencies, reduce costs, and elevate stakeholder satisfaction. As a leader in procurement and supply chain analytics, this role collaborates with both internal and external partners to revolutionize business practices through system improvements, streamlined processes, and advanced reporting. Key activities include:
- Analyse procurement spend data to identify trends in expenses impacting operational costs which assist with determining the appropriate procurement strategies.
- Identify opportunities to optimise company spend and deliver greater value add opportunities in line with organisational objectives.
- Assist Procurement and Supply Chain team to convert corporate objectives into actionable plans, providing end to end strategic direction, in particular analysis, communication, Implementation, compliance and performance.
- Development of evidence-based reporting, business cases and presentations, that inform the organisation’s exposure to risks, supports decision making and identifies innovative continuous improvement projects / initiatives.
- Develop analytical models and reporting framework dealing with complex matters that link and contribute to the strategic goals of Stanwell as they apply to Procurement and Supply.
About you
- In depth knowledge and experience in supporting the development, implementation and control of procurement and supply chain strategies relating to asset management, maintenance management, operations and logistics.
- Proven ability to apply and implement innovative procurement and supply chain management strategies, and technical knowledge.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement and supply chain key performance indicators to identify, improve and monitor processes.
- High Level knowledge of ERP and Procurement software systems and process, such as Ellipse, Zycus or SAP.
- Extensive experience in providing support to a commercial or financial team or specific experience in related optimization areas such as procurement and supply chain.
