How you'll make an impact
The purpose of this role is to scope and develop all managed portfolio enhancements as well as other revenue opportunities for the investment and managed portfolio team.
Main Focus Areas:
- Support the Head of Investments and Managed Portfolios in leading the development on all revenue generating projects such as Managed Portfolios on-going development and other key investment led initiatives.
- Assist in delivering development builds that assist the investment offers to be best in market.
- Responsible for various functionality scoping and development for key offers and revenue transformation for the platform. Examples include
- Managed portfolio on-going development
- Digital strategy - Investment Menu
- Ensure that investments and Managed Portfolios are optimally represented and delivered best in market.
- Oversee APT build requirements for test on choice products
- Ensure that investment information on North on-line is current and best practise.
- Help create a great team and foster a knowledge-based culture.
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
- Significant breadth and depth of experience in development and scoping of build requirements for various Investment Products such as Managed Portfolios
- Significant knowledge of platforms and Managed Portfolios and investments
- Significant knowledge of regs and tax as related to corporate events and Managed Portfolios trading.
- Tertiary Qualified in a relevant business discipline
- Minimum 8+ years in product management (platforms and Managed Portfolios).
- Sound interpersonal skills, situational awareness, and emotional intelligence with a natural ability to appropriately adapt their personal and leadership styles through this to maximise influence of situations.
- Proven experience in successful stakeholder management
- Proven experience in Platforms and Managed Portfolios and Investment Products
- Proven experience in scoping, development, and implementation of coding for Investment Products
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and comfortably deal with change (marketplace and business)
- Ability to make sound and justifiable recommendations and the confidence to present those recommendations to Boards and investment committees if required.
- Ability to write recommendations and reports to Boards, investment committees, and senior leaders.
