Position Overview

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for providing high-quality project coordination services across the entity’s Digital Court Program. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, focused on a significant modernisation of the courts’ business applications.

Duties

  1. Working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, undertake project management and coordination activities focused on the delivery of robust, supportable, and maintainable software solutions.
  2. Working with the Project Manager and other senior team members, contribute to the delivery and iterative improvement of robust, transparent, accountable project practices.
  3. Undertake project activities in line with the Digital Transformation Agency’s Digital Service Standard.
  4. Adhere to the Court's change management, security, release, maintenance policies and procedures, including ITIL framework. 

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience in the coordination of project management activity in a complex technical environment, using modern software design and development principles, including Agile methodologies.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with a range of project team members and stakeholders across the Entity to ensure that critical quality, cost and schedule objectives are met.
  3. High-level communication skills, including an ability to communicate complex concepts using straight-forward language.
  4. The IT Division is geographically dispersed and experience in working in such teams is essential.

Other Requirements

Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications in IT would be well regarded.

Eligibility

To be eligible for employment with the Federal Court of Australia, you must be an Australian Citizen and will be required to provide proof of citizenship if you are the successful applicant.

Applicants offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a police record check and must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information.

Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
