Details of need:
- Initiate and manage the preparation, review and issue of Project cost estimates in conjunction with the Project Managers
- Manage the detailed cost estimate review with the Program Director, Project Manager and the project team to gain approval.
- Manage the Project and Program accruals and recording of actual costs.
- Manage client requirements for cost reporting and cost profiles
- Prepare budgets for procurement packages and the associated budget reconciliation
- Conduct periodic reviews with contract managers, to establish and maintain vendor forecasts for all packages, including Estimate at Completion and expenditure forecasts
- Manage and forecast project contingency requirements, escalation, Capex, currencies etc.
- Update and maintain budget with approved Project Change Requests
- Produce and organize the review of the cost report and variance analysis.
- Generate data and curves for each project cost profile (baselines and periodic updates).
- Establish financial asset management approach for the program, based on client asset management policies
