The Senior Project Development Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of utility-scale solar, battery storage BESS Project Development from start to finish. This critical role requires strategic vision, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Project Development strategies for solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hydrogen integration.
- Identify and evaluate potential projects.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with design and engineering standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including solar PV innovation, battery storage, and hydrogen integration.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to secure permits and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permitting processes.
- Understand project finance and investment analysis.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress, budgets, and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in solar PV and BESS Project Development.
- Extensive knowledge of solar PV, BESS, hydrogen technology, regulations, and incentives.
- Proven experience in developing Solar or BESS projects
- Excellent leadership, team management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and project management abilities.
