AddressCollar are seeking a Senior Project Development Manager (PDM) to work with a Global Renewable Energy Leader either based in Brisbane or Melbourne. The Senior PDM will lead all aspects of utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, and hydrogen hybrid Project Development from inception to completion. This critical role requires strategic vision, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Project Development strategy for solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hydrogen integration.
- Identify and evaluate potential projects.
- Establish and oversee project timelines, budgets and milestones.
- Ensure design and engineering standards are met.
- Stay current on industry trends including solar PV innovation, battery storage, hydrogen integration.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to secure permits and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permitting processes.
- Understanding project finance and investment analysis.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress, budgets, and metrics.
As the successful applicant you should have the following experience and attributes:
- A minimum qualification of bachelor's degree; master's degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of local solar PV and BESS Project Development experience.
- Extensive knowledge of solar PV, BESS, hydrogen tech, regulations, incentives.
- Proven experience developing Solar+BESS, standalone BESS and Solar+BESS+Hydrogen projects.
- Excellent leadership, team management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and project management abilities.
